Aren’t most missionaries ineffective?

In every endeavor, there are some who are more effective than others. It’s the same in missions. I’m sure you can find many missionaries who are not very effective. But they’re out there doing their best. We need to do a better job.

On the other hand, there are countless people who will tell you, “I’m so glad these missionaries came to us.” So, even though we may not agree with all of their methods, they were effective.
