Supporting Missionaries
OBJECTIVES OF THIS SESSION
· To help group members consider the need to support world missions.
· To show the many ways we can support missionaries in addition to finances.
INTRODUCTION
Have you ever wondered how missionaries live? They don’t have regular jobs like us. It’s expensive to live in some countries. In addition to every-day living expenses, they must pay for travel and equipment costs. Today we’ll find out who pays those bills. We’ll also find out about many other needs the missionaries have.
PRAYER
- Open in prayer and ask the Lord to reveal to each one what he has for them.
REPORT BACK (Optional)
- If you assigned a volunteer at the end of the previous session to give a report on what he or she discovered in the Dig Deeper section, call on that person now.
- Distribute the printable Worksheet #8 to those who don't have copies of Workbook
- Note: All Worksheets are available on Dropbox. It's quick, easy, and free but you need to register or sign in.
- Read the scripture selections in the Workbook or Worksheet.
